Aevitas Boot Camp For Beginners

*All particpants must complete this portion of the program.

Aevitas Boot Camp, or simply ABC, is where the foundation building begins. ABC is a 3-week technique-biased fitness program designed for all levels and fitness backgrounds. The goal of the program is to teach you the basic yet functional movements that make CrossFit such a successful fitness methodology. Gradually over the course of the program, the intensity of the workouts is ramped up to prepare you for the WODs (Workout of the Day) that our seasoned members have achieved such great results with and still enjoy after over 4 years! The workouts are varied daily to ensure that your body, and more importantly your mind, stay engaged and you keep improving.

The 3-week ABC session times are as follows:
Evening: Mon, Wed, Thu - 6:30-7:30PM

100% attendance is not mandatory but highly encouraged. If you need to miss a day or two, we can make it work.

Unlimited CrossFit Classes (Weeks 4-6)

This is where the real work begins. After completing the 3-week ABC, you’ll be ready to attend our WODs (Workout Of the Day) at your own convenience (VIEW SCHEDULE). This is our bread and butter strength and conditioning class that will propel you to goals you never thought possible! We still recommend hitting 3-4 workouts per week while your body adjusts to the higher workload.

Nutrition And Movement Challenges

During the weekly mentoring session, we will be issuing a nutrition and movement challenge as well as a DIY workout to complete on your own over the weekend. These challenges will be sent out for all to participate in even, if you can’t attend the session in person.

Nutrition Consultation & Plan

One of our favorite sayings at Aevitas is “You can’t out workout a bad diet”. Similarly, “Six-pack abs aren’t made in the gym, they’re made in the kitchen!”.

While the context might be different, the message is the same. All meaningful health and fitness results are anchored with strong nutritional habits.

This is why we’re including a FREE 30-minute consultation and custom nutrition plan from our very own Registered Dietitian, Laura Ligos (aka. The Sassy Dietitian).

Laura has an extensive nutritonal resume and has worked with all types of people with a wide range of fitness goals. (The Sassy Dietitian Blog)

DIY Weekend Workouts

We know its not always easy to get into the gym. This is why we also like to teach you how to do workouts on your own when you’re in a pinch during the week, on the road traveling, or simply too lazy to drive in on a Saturday morning :P The weekend workouts will be simple enough for you to do without needing a coach and will be hard enough to get a good sweat on regardless of where you are.

Kettlebell Conditioning Class

This is a weekly class designed to make you a kettlebell ninja in the gym. Kettlebells are one of the most versatile and potent training tools out there. This class is meant to be paired with our Essentials series held on Tuesday evenings, and is open to all of our CrossFit Aevitas members.

Sunday Salutations Yoga

Oven overlooked attributes of a well-rounded fitness program are active recovery and mental wellness. Most of us know the mobility and range of motion benefits of yoga, especially if you have known limitations.

Yoga is also an excellent source of active recovery juices to refuel you. The meditative side-effects will leave you feeling calm, cool and collected to get a great night’s sleep on Sunday and start your week strong.

Yoga is offered on Sunday from 9:45-10:45AM.

Members are entitled to weekly yoga within the six weeks of the Foundations Program. After program completion, Yoga sessions may be purchased through a punch-card membership.

Movement/Injury Evaluation

Our partners at The Sports & Spinal Wellness Center are experts when it comes to movement assessment and injury evaluations. If you have specific limitations and concerns, they will help you and our coaching staff understand how to treat them and modify around them if necassary. This will allow you to train more intelligently and prevent reoccuring pain and dysfunction.

If you don’t have specific limitations and concerns, they will suggest maintenance treatment and best practices to keep it that way!

Each participant will receive a 30-min consultation with one of the experts at The Sports & Spinal Wellness Center.

These consultations should be scheduled on an individual basis with Sports and Spinal Wellness Center. Members are entitled to one 30-minute consultation, scheduled within the six weeks of the Foundations Program
